The 42nd edition of the SU E ZO PAR I PONTI (up and down the bridges) will be held on Sunday 18 April 2021: a non-competitive walk, among Venetian streets, squares and bridges that involves everyone.
On this Sunday, families, young and old, schools, sports and non-sports associations meet to cross the lagoon city in joy and in a different way from the usual daily chaos.
The first edition was established in 1975 by the Salesian priest Don Berti who coordinated it until the 2000 edition and has remained a cornerstone of Venice. Every year there are between 10 thousand and 15 thousand participants: groups of people who come from all over the world (young, old, sports, less sporty, families, friends) to face this day full of fun and why not, the discovery of Venice.
There are two planned routes:
1) Departure from Piazza San Marco, complete route of 13 km with 56 bridges, and arrival in Piazza San Marco
2) Departure from S. Lucia Railway Station, complete route of 7 km with 30 bridges, and arrival in Piazza S. Marco
A day that unites everyone, thanks also to the presence of folkloric groups that accompany and entertain the participants and spectators along the entire route.
